Having long been known as a sports car manufacturer Lamborghini intends to re-turn on cars type Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) which had long been their switch off. Offroad vehicle is expected to launch in 2012.
Previously, Lamborghini once had their first 4x4 type car called LM002 which designed for military use. This car had a V12 engine from the Countach.
for new SUVs according to the Auto Express will be named LM00X, Lamborghini will be probably give new twin turbo V8 engine with a capacity of 4.0 liters. This machine is likely similar to a machine that will be used in Audi Q7 with peak power of 550 bhp.
As for its platform, Lamborghini LM00X will likely use the same platform as used by the Audi Q5 and Porsche Cajun. Its appearance will be remaining signaled strength Lamborghini. So despite having a certain SUVs, Lamborghini LM00X can instantly recognizable as Lamborghini family.
