Yes, a robot named CanBot made by Ron Tajima does looks simple compared with many sophisticated robots that exist today but its uniqueness quite stealing the attention.
People may think CanBot that was standing on the table is a can of beer. But when it moves, they will be surprised to see it turns out the tin can issue three feet, walking or rolling.
Not only that’s quoted from PopSci, Friday (10/06/2011), CanBot that are powered by a small battery, move by controllers Nintendo Wii, making it easier to give orders to CanBot Tajima.
But the prototype of this robot can not interact with other robots or even humans like most robots today. Tajima plans to develop this simple robot further.
