Samsung continues to maximize the Galaxy Tab line of tablets. Although they have introduced the Galaxy Tab 10.1 "and 8.9", but it seems the original version of the Galaxy Tab with a 7 inch screen is not forgotten.
Some media reported that Samsung is preparing something for the successor of the Galaxy Tab with a 7-inch screen. As quoted from UnwiredView, Friday (17/06/2011), gadget name may be referred to Galaxy Tab 7.
The Galaxy Tab's first version is often referred as the larger version of the Galaxy S phone. Well, the new series also seems to have similarities to the Galaxy II about the specification.
According to the leaked source, the tablet has a 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 1 GB RAM, 2 GB ROM, and 16 GB of internal memory. If this is true, this certainly can be regarded as a dramatic improvement over earlier versions of the Galaxy Tab.
Renewal of the Galaxy Tab, which reportedly was first released in the United States uses the Android OS Gingebread 2.3.4. There has not been any official confirmation from Samsung on the reports that have been spread.
