In Dublin, a man from Ireland who has been blind for two years could finally see again the beauty of this world with implantable tooth in his eye. McNichol became blind because of an accident. He was hit by an explosion in a hot liquid aluminum recycling past November 2005. "I think I am going blind in the rest of my life," said the artificial cornea transplant patient’s Bob McNichol (57), a resident of County Mayo, Ireland, as reported by AFP on Thursday (02/28/2008).
