Lung cancer is an abnormality in the cells of living things in which most basic unit of life. Normally, your body maintains a system of checks and balances on cell regeneration, where the cell divides in half to produce new cells which needed for your body. Disturbance to the balance system of uncontrolled cell regeneration which will eventually, form a mass known as the tumors.
Tumors can be benign or malignant, a malignant tumors is called cancer. Benign tumors usually can be removed and not spreading to other body parts. Malignant tumors, on the other hand, grow aggressively and attacking other body tissues, so that the tumors cells go to the bloodstream or lymphatic system and then into the inside of your body. Deployment process is called metastasis.
Since lung cancer tends to metastasize, a cancer of this type included in the type of cancer that is very threatening. Lung cancer can spread into every organ in your body, especially the adrenal glands, liver, brain, and bone. This cancer is also one of the most difficult types of cancer to treat. The lungs is also included the organ most commonly affected by tumors compared with the other of the body parts.
